Website QA Audit
Every Page. Every Link. Every Detail.
A comprehensive quality assurance audit that catches what automated tools miss. We test every page, every link, every form, and every interaction — across browsers, devices, and screen sizes. The issues get documented. And if you need us to fix them, we do that too.
What We Test
Six Testing Dimensions. Complete Coverage.
Functional Testing
Every interactive element
Forms, buttons, navigation, search, filters, accordions, modals, sliders. We test every user flow to confirm it works as intended.
Cross-Browser Testing
All major browsers
Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and their mobile variants. We verify consistent rendering, functionality, and performance across all major browsers.
Responsive Testing
Desktop to mobile
Desktop, tablet, and mobile at standard breakpoints. We check layout, typography, images, navigation, and touch interactions at every screen size.
Link Validation
All links verified
Every internal link, external link, anchor link, and resource URL. We identify broken links, redirect chains, and incorrect destinations.
Content Accuracy
Error-free copy
Spelling, grammar, placeholder text, missing images, incorrect data, truncated content, and formatting inconsistencies across every page.
Performance Baseline
Speed and vitals
Page load times, image optimization, render-blocking resources, and Core Web Vitals measurements across key pages.
How We Test
Manual and Automated. Together.
Automated tools catch the obvious issues — broken links, missing alt text, performance metrics. But they miss layout shifts, visual inconsistencies, interaction bugs, and content errors. Our QA process combines both.
Tools We Use
BrowserStack, Lighthouse, Screaming Frog, W3C Validator, axe DevTools
Manual
Page-by-page visual review, User flow testing, Form submission testing, Edge case verification
How We Classify Issues
Severity. Priority. Resolution.
Blocker
Prevents users from completing a core action. Must be fixed before launch.
Examples: Broken checkout flow, Form submission fails, Login not working, 500 server errors, Missing critical pages
Critical
Severely impacts user experience but does not completely block functionality.
Examples: Layout breaking at specific breakpoints, Navigation failing on mobile, Images not loading, JavaScript errors blocking interactions
Major
Noticeable issues that affect polish and professionalism.
Examples: Text overflow or truncation, Inconsistent spacing or alignment, Wrong fonts or colors, Missing hover states, Broken animations
Minor
Small imperfections that should be fixed but do not impact functionality.
Examples: Spelling or grammar errors, Placeholder text remaining, Minor alignment issues, Favicon missing, Console warnings
The Process
Systematic. Thorough. Documented.
Every QA audit follows the same structured approach. We define the scope upfront. Test systematically. Document everything. And if you need us, we fix it all.
01
Scope
Day 1
We define the testing scope — pages, user flows, browsers, devices, and acceptance criteria. You approve before we start.
02
Test
Day 2-5
Automated scans run first to catch broad issues. Then manual testing begins — page by page, flow by flow, device by device.
03
Document
Day 5-7
Every issue gets logged with screenshot, severity, location, browser/device, and reproduction steps. Delivered in a structured format.
04
Fix
Optional
If you need us to fix the issues, our development team implements every fix, tests the resolution, and runs a regression check.
What You Get
Comprehensive audit. Actionable results.
Every QA audit delivers more than a list of bugs. You get a structured issue tracker, prioritized by severity and user impact, with clear reproduction steps and resolution paths.
Issue Tracker
Every issue documented with screenshot, page URL, browser/device, severity level, and specific steps to reproduce.
Browser Matrix
Pass/fail results across every browser and device combination tested.
Prioritized Fix List
Issues ranked by severity and user impact — so your development team knows exactly where to start.
Regression Checklist
A checklist for verifying fixes after implementation — ensuring the fix does not introduce new problems.
Executive Summary
A one-page overview for stakeholders — total issues found, severity breakdown, and overall quality score.
Beyond the Audit
We Find Every Issue. We Also Fix Every Issue.
Most agencies receive a QA report and then assign their own developers to work through the fixes. We offer a faster option — our development team implements every fix, tests the resolution, and runs a full regression check before handoff.

You receive the complete QA report and your team handles the fixes. We are available for questions and clarification.

Before We Start
What We Need From You
To run an accurate Website QA Audit, we need a few things from your team. Most clients have everything ready within a day.
Staging or Production URL
The URL of the site to be tested. Staging is preferred for pre-launch QA. If testing production, let us know if there are any pages or sections to exclude.
Browser and Device Matrix
Which browsers and devices matter most to the client’s audience. We test Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge by default. Mobile devices and specific screen sizes can be added.
Key User Flows
A list of critical user journeys to prioritize — contact forms, checkout process, account login, search functionality. These get tested first and most thoroughly.
Pricing
Custom Quoted for Every Project
Every Website QA Audit is scoped based on the number of pages, user flows, and the browser and device testing matrix required.
For pricing, contact us with the client’s URL and approximate page count. We will provide a custom quote within one business day.

Questions
Frequently asked questions about website QA
Before launch is ideal — it catches issues before real users see them. But QA audits are also valuable after major updates, redesigns, platform migrations, or when user complaints increase.
We test every unique template and key user flow. For large sites, we define a representative sample that covers all page types, forms, and interactive elements. Smaller sites get full page-by-page coverage.
Both. We use BrowserStack for broad coverage across devices and browsers, supplemented with real device testing for touch interactions, scroll behavior, and performance.
Yes. Pre-launch QA is one of our most common engagements. We test the staging environment, deliver the issue list, and optionally fix everything before the site goes live.
Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on desktop. Safari on iOS and Chrome on Android for mobile. We can extend to specific browsers or devices based on the client’s analytics data.
We include basic accessibility checks — keyboard navigation, alt text, color contrast, and form labels. For a comprehensive WCAG 2.1 audit, we recommend our dedicated ADA Compliance Audit service.
